I’m a PhD Candidate in Bioinformatics, mentored by Professors Naama Geva-Zatorsky (Technion) and Itai Sharon (MIGAL). My research focuses on the gut microbiome, combining microbial genetics and data analysis to study gut bacteria functional plasticity and their interactions with the human host. Specifically, I am interested in reversible genomic alterations in gut bacteria, which can induce varied gene expression patterns, ultimately shaping the influence on the mammalian host.
